Members of the Resort Club are invited to join the Seven Devils Golf Group managed by one of the Resort Club members, Bob Streightiff. Bob handles all tee times, negotiates group rates, organizes teams and pairings.

Boone Golf Club is the home course. The group also plays at Mountain Glen Golf Club in Newland and Sugar Mountain Golf Club.

• Every Monday morning in season at Boone Golf Club, there are medal play games (hit your own ball!) for men’s and women’s groups. 

• On Wednesday, golf rotates between Boone Golf Club and Mountain Glen Golf Club. Two Wednesdays a month, the game will be an 18 hole scramble (best team ball) for a mixed team of men and women. The other Wednesdays each month will be medal play. One Thursday a month, there will be a mixed scramble called ‘Nine and Dine’ at Boone Golf Club! After playing a 9 hole mixed scramble, the group will meet at a restaurant in Boone to enjoy a meal together.

• On one Saturday a month, there will be a mixed scramble at Sugar Mountain Golf Club.

 

There is something for everyone: 18 hole medal rounds, 4 scrambles a month (lovingly called ‘hit and giggle games’ by a long time Resort Club Member, Sam Gray) and camaraderie over dinner!
